Soya Chunks Cutlet RecipeÂ
Soya chunks are rich in protein and nutrients; they can be enjoyed as a simple snack item. It is healthy and tasty, often enjoyed with tea or sips in the afternoon or as an evening snack. Soya chunk cutlet is a great snack for a small gathering and is very easy to make.

To make the Cutlet:Â
- 1 cup dry soya chunks
- 2 boiled potatoes
- ½ inch ginger finely chopped
- ½ onion finely chopped
- Few coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- Âź teaspoon garam masala powder
- ½ teaspoon coriander powder (dhania powder)
- â cup bread crumbs or as required
- ½ teaspoon dry mango powder(amchur powder)
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- salt as per taste
- oil for shallow frying
To make the Binding paste:Â
- 2 teaspoon maida (all-purpose flour)
- 2 teaspoon cornflour
- Âź cup water
MethodÂ
- Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 30 minutes. Drain the water and drain the excess water from chickpeas in a large bowl
- Grind the chunks
- Add chopped onion, ginger, coriander leaves, and green chilies. Also, add cumin, red chili powder, garam masala, coriander powder, chaat masala, mango powder, and salt. Make cutlets and keep them aside
- Make a thick batter by adding water as required in the cornflour and maida
- Dip each patty in the batter. cover both sides
- Then coat the cutlets in breadcrumbs. Alternatively, you can use rava
- Now take a pan and put some oil in it
